Central Bank of Iraq recorded the highest sales in 2014 so far during last August after it exceeded $5 billion. The last month’s sales on dollar remittances hit $3.5 billion. The central bank announced that its sales on US dollar reached $5 billion and 738,490,000.
These sales were distributed to $3,533,992,000 remittances and $2,222,505,000 cash. In August 13th, the central bank’s dollar sales logged the highest level after exceeding $290 million. The bank’s sales on dollar hit $33,266,46,000 since the beginning of 2014 until the end of last August.
